Notes on Colombia
We describe this complex coffee as, "big, juicy cabernet-like fig fruit." Touted as one of the world's most balanced coffees, Colombia is a true crowd pleaser. It's perfect for the breakfast table, as well as any dinner party.

Origin Notes
Colombia produces the highest yields of specialty quality "Arabica" coffee in the world. The traditional criteria for grading Colombian coffee are cleanliness and size. At ie coffee we only use the highest grade of coffee available from Colombia.

Cupping Notes
We roast these beans to a Full City roast. It is important to coax the caramel and sweet acidity to the forefront with the roast profile. A properly roasted Colombia will display a balanced acidity and showcase Colombia as the star that it is. Colombia possesses a medium, heavy body with lush notes of ripe cherries in the acidity. Caramel and nuts coat the palate in the aftertaste.
